Imogen Morris is a rising star in the model scene. She was born in London, England, on March 24th, 1992, and despite her relative youth, this model is making a name for herself both on the runway and off. Her career actually started in 2006 when she was signed with the Storm Agency, but it did not take off until recently in 2008 when she also signed with New York’s Supreme Management, and Women Management in both Milan and Paris. Even though she had done a few editorial spreads for a few important magazines before this, it was the multi-national exposure of these other agencies that allowed her to break through at such a young age.

In fact, within just a few months she was featured on the cover of the Japanese version of Dazed & Confused. This kind of exposure is something that many models work to achieve over an extended period of time, but the natural good looks and nice girl sense of appeal that so many have found in Imogen Morris was something that designers and photographers alike were drawn to. Morris manages to come across as a very youthful, yet uncomplicated spirit, her face untouched by the worries of the average world that weigh heavily on so many people. This is an important aspect of a model as they are intended to represent the ideal.

Career blastoff
In September 2008 Imogen Morris debuted on the catwalk in a major fashion. She walked in several shows in New York, including those for DKNY, 3.1 phillip lim, Peter Som, Lacoste, Rodarte, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and Yigal Azrouel. This astounding success was automatically followed up by Morris’ walks in the shows for Burberry, Prada, Chanel, Miu Miu, Dolce & Gabbana, and Alexander McQueen, in both Paris and Milan. For any model this is an exciting and whirlwind experience, but since it was Imogen Morris’s first ever season to model on the catwalk, it very easily marked her ascension into new model royalty.
Not to mention the fact that after this Morris was automatically chosen to represent Dolce & Gabbana on their newest advertising campaign and she was photographed by Mario Testino. While people were still reeling from her relatively new breakthrough, Morris was being named on several different sites and magazines as a new rising star to be closely watched. To help make sure that her rising career was in the right hands Imogen Morris chose to leave her management company in New York (Supreme) in favour or using Next Management.

Working and going to school
Trying to work while one is going to school and constantly studying for exams can be taxing for any young student, but Imogen Morris has managed to accomplish this task with relative ease and aplomb. In fact, she decided to wait until after she had completed exams before she took off to walk in the spring fashion shows in February of 2009. After she finished up with some of her exams she walked in both New York and Milan for Carolina Herrera, DKNY, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, 3.1 phillip lim, and Vera Wang. The next month she also attended the fashion shows in Paris and appeared on the catwalk for Chanel, Miu Miu, Calentino, Dries van Noten, and Giambattista Valli. While she was in Paris she filmed the entire experience for New York Magazine.
However, despite all of this success, Imogen Morris appears to have kept her composure as a student as well. In an interview with Pony Ryder she expressed how difficult it was for her to be able to work and attend school. Between pressing modelling contracts and engagements and school commitments it is hard for her to find time to hang out and be normal. However, with a career that is launching itself into the stratosphere at an astronomical rate it is unlikely that she will have much free time even when she is capable of graduating and getting away from her school commitments.
